Owned by Testi Specialty Coffee, the station was named by founder Faysel Abdosh after his niece—Ayla, meaning “grace” or “moonlight” in Turkish.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis lot was produced by around 900 independent smallholder farmers whose farms sit between 1,950 and 2,150 metres above sea level. The region’s high elevation and cool temperatures allow the cherries to ripen slowly, producing dense beans with exceptional sweetness and complexity.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCarefully selected cherries were pulped within hours of harvest, fermented in clean water and graded several times before being slowly dried on raised beds.
