Located in Murang'a County, Waturi Estate is an 8-hectare farm owned and managed by David Murathe. Every step of production, from harvesting to processing and drying, is carefully carried out on the farm to ensure quality and consistency.
Only fully ripe cherries are hand-picked before being processed using the traditional Kenyan washed method. After fermentation, the coffee is soaked in clean water before being slowly dried on raised African beds. This meticulous process highlights the clarity, vibrant acidity and elegant sweetness that Kenyan coffees are known for.
We love coffees that express where they were grown. Waturi is a beautiful example of a classic Kenyan profile—bright, floral and elegant, while remaining sweet and beautifully structured.
We roast on every Monday and dispatch on Tuesday.
